Life Of Rhyme

As part of the Street Summer series, last night Channel 4 aired ‘Life Of Rhyme’ hosted by Akala. The programme explored the British MC culture and how it contributes to spoken word and poetry through the different genres of music that British Mc’s are involved in.

If you missed it and have any intrest in any form of Mcing, be it grime, hip hop, DnB, Dubstep etc, then I suggest you head over to 4oD and check it out. It was really good seeing ‘urban’ music finally getting the recognition and a good representation on TV that it deserves. It was also madness seeing the likes of Dot Rotten, Lowkey, Durrty Goods, Ghetts and Devlin on terrestrial TV as I thought that day would never come.
So yeah Click Here to head over to 4oD and check it out well worth a watch!
Peace!
