Carhartt-WIP Shoreditch | Brand Book Launch Party

I think it’s fair to say that Carhartt throw some of the best in-store parties! Good music, good people, good product, good vibes and not forgetting the meantime beer that we all love!

Last Thursday I managed to make it to the Brand Book launch in Carhartt’s Shoreditch store, the newest store to grace London’s streets. The party was to celebrate the launch of Carhartt’s 8th Brand Book, featuring collaborations with Adam Kimmel, A.P.C, WETHEPEOPLE, Uniform Experiment and Vans Syndicate. The Black Curtain section this season showcases some of Carhartt’s friends, artists, skaters, actresses, a metal worker and DJ’s, one of which is Femi Adeyemi who we were lucky enough to hear play at the party itself! A favourite feature of mine in this issue has to be the heritage shoot. For me Carhartt’s heritage range just keeps getting more and more on point each season, you can see on pg62 the Filmore Jacket, an absolute must cop after seeing it on the rails at the Shoreditch store on Thursday! Heavy!

Before I end up telling you everything about it, I’ll leave you to pick up a brand book for yourself and check the rest of the features out, including a picture of myself with the Manchester Store Crew Staff Talk amongst the closing pages of the book!

If like me you’re not lucky enough to live in or close to London, it is most definitely worth a visit! We hit up Box Park which houses some great stores and food bars (and drinks giveaways), Carhartt was a hop, skip and a jump away and the new Edwin store is just around the corner which is a must visit!

So thank you to Carhartt Shoreditch for the hospitality and to Richard Martins for the shots of the party, a rad night! Keep your eyes on iLL sessions for info on future events at Carhartt stores worldwide!
